GetResponse vs Alternatives.
A business’s email list is their most important asset, and thus no surprise there’s a wide variety of email marketing tools to help with its growth and management.
And while options are a good thing, confusion is never far behind regarding which email marketing service will be perfect for your business.
Numbers have to match. Even so, you can’t go wrong with GetResponse as your email marketing software of choice.
But how well does it stack up against some of its key competitors?
Pretty well!
And while there’s no shortage of email marketing service providers to compare GetResponse to, in this review we shall only look at two.
1. GetResponse vs Aweber.
You really cannot talk of solid email marketing service providers without talking of Aweber.
And having been around for more than 20 years, there’s little, if anything, they don’t know about making the best email marketing tool to meet your marketing needs.
While both tools function almost the same with similar features, you stand to get more with GetResponse cost-effectively.
To show this, did you know for a list of 500 subscribers you must part with $19/mo with Aweber, whilst with a list of 1,000 subscribers only $15/mo will be needed over at GetResponse?
With GetResponse you’ll also get a visual workflow builder, unlike with Aweber for the same price.
Both tools offer contact list importations in different file formats, data segmentation, responsive templates, support web fonts, integrations with other sites and apps, split testing, autoresponder, excellent support system, and so much more.
But notable features you’ll ONLY get with GetResponse (lacking or subpar in Aweber) are such as Webinars support, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) functionality, Landing page builder, Autofunnels, Perfect Timing, and other more advanced marketing automation features.
Though, both are easy to sign up to, with clean interfaces, and also offer 30 days free trial. With Aweber, unlike GetResponse, you will need a credit card to sign up to their free trial.
They are both excellent options and quite capable email automation tools. But for cost-effectiveness and advanced automation, GetResponse is perfect.

2. GetResponse vs ClickFunnels.
By now you know what GetResponse is and what it does, but not a whole lot about ClickFunnels.
So, what is ClickFunnels?
ClickFunnels is a web-based website and funnel builder geared towards conversions. This to mean its main purpose is to convert site visitors into sales.
And this is done by creating from scratch or customizing pre-designed highly converting sales funnel website templates in a simple drag and drop style editor.
While these two tools look different and sound different, their purpose is pretty clear. Help you analyze marketing tactics for your online business, in a less complicated and confusing way, to increase your profits.
So, to decide which one is best for you, your level of experience, needs, and budget will come to play.
Both ClickFunnels and GetResponse are beginner and user-friendly, all aimed at usage simplicity. And to further help with this, tutorials are readily available.
Even so, each of these will need a learning curve, and given all that GetResponse can do, for some, it can be somewhat overwhelming but nothing you can’t handle. 🙂
If you need to work from a mobile platform, GetResponse will be your ideal option as ClickFunnels isn’t available yet on mobile platforms.
Both tools have an autoresponder, built-in editors and intended for all sizes of businesses.
And in terms of cost, ClickFunnels plans start at $97 per month while GetResponse is $15 per month. Your choice here will depend on the features you want, the size of your business, the volume of subscribers and your monthly website visitors.
Note ClickFunnels’ Startup package hosts up to 20,000/mo unique visitors while it’s unlimited even with GetResponse’s Basic plan (unlimited landing pages and visitors).
GetResponse, in terms of integrations, comes quite ahead with over 150+ integrations to ClickFunnels’ 20+.
And if you’d like to use both of them, it might please you to know GetResponse integrates natively with ClickFunnels via their API.
Some more good news is that both have Free trials. The difference being, with ClickFunnels you get a 14 days trial and GetResponse a 30 days one.
Also note, you’ll need your credit card for ClickFunnels trial.
These two platforms are an all-in-one internet marketing platforms, with impeccable customer satisfaction ratings, and thus both a must try.

But…
Do you need an Email Marketing Tool?
Absolutely!
Of course, this, assuming you’re a serious internet market or blogger, who knows building their email list is their top priority.
You wouldn’t want to miss out on 3,800% ROI that email marketing brings from every $1 spent. All because you wouldn’t bother.
It suffices to say, email marketing is a must for any business’s growth, and these tools take out the unnecessary hassle out of the process.
You’d be lost without one, leaving a lot of money on the table for your competitors, and risk going under.
At the very Basic level with GetResponse is $15/mo for a list size of 1,000. A very small price to pay for that extra revenue from your business’ growth, wouldn’t you say?

In wrapping up, GetResponse is a sure bet for everyone with the need to increase their business’ bottom line by building a responsive email list and running an impactful email marketing campaign.
